How to create a Turnitin Assignment Note: SafeAssign is currently under evaluation as an alternative replacement to Turnitin and will be evaluated in Fall 2011.
Go to Blackboard and login
Select the course you wish to assign a Turnitin Assignment
Click on the box that shows your course title to expand it
Select Content
Go to Assessments
Select Turnitin Assignment
Click on Paper Assignment
Click Next Step
Note: You cannot create a Revision Assignment until you've created a Paper Assignment.
Fill out all the information such as assignment title, point value, the assignment's start date, its due date, and post date.
Scroll down and click Optional settings
Adjust any of the settings that you want to change
Click Submit
Note: Make sure you look at Optional Settings since the current settings might not be to your liking.
